Intime for their live appearance at WGT Leipzig 2012 (25-28 May), theall new album by famous American Neo-Folk / Dark / Goth act UNTOASHES will be available in Europe from mid May (in the US from Julyonly). ‘Burials Foretold’ is the band’s first new album since2009’s highly praised ‘The Blood of My Lady’. And just as onthe previous album (Fly on the Windscreen/Depeche Mode), also the newalbum features an amazing cover- version, this time ‘Kathy’sSong’ by Apoptygma Berzerk + another 14 new tracks. UntoAshes is a musical ensemble based in New York City that incorporatesmadrigal, folk, and elements of neo-medievaland dark wave. Founded by Michael Laird and Susanna Melendez in 1997,the band has released six successful full-length albums on Projekt.Following a very successful 2006 European Tour opening for Germany’sdarkwave / neo-Medieval gods Qntal, two former members of Unto Ashesemigrated to Germany, where they are now recording with members ofEstampie and Helium Vola.
