Elwood Stray is a dynamic heavy band hailing from Essen, Germany, established in 2016. After independently releasing a series of impactful singles, the band caught the attention of Out Of Line Music and signed with them in 2022. This partnership led to the release of three standout tracks that collectively amassed over 1.9 million streams on Spotify prior to the debut album's launch. On June 30, 2023, Elwood Stray released their debut album, "Gone With The Flow," via Out Of Line Music, which garnered over 6 million streams in its first year alone.

Now they’re back with their sophomore album “Descending”, to be released January 23rd 2026.

Elwood Stray have shared the stage with numerous international artists, including Bad Omens, The Plot In You, The Ghost Inside, Landmvrks and The Word Alive. The band has also made notable festival appearances at Summerbreeze, Full Force and Takedown (UK). To kick off 2025, the band joined US metalcore powerhouse Stick To Your Guns for their European record release tour before starting the festival Season with major events like Vaintream and Impericon.

Following this festival summer, and to celebrate their new record, the band will enter 2026 with a co-headline tour alongside post-hardcore band Our Mirage.
