Following the successful pre-release singles "Zeitfresser" (3/2025), "The journey" (5/2025), and "Wrong direction"(12/25), the third solo album from former !distain frontman Alex Braun will finally be released in early 2026.

"Angel Maschine" was once again produced by Gerrit Thomas and features 12 diverse Synth-Pop songs. These offer plenty of catchy melodies, dance potential, and a seemingly cinematic, widescreen sound. The ballads that were deliberately omitted on the predecessor are also back on board, allowing this absolute strength of the charismatic singer to finally come into its own again. Otherwise, listeners can expect the tried-and-tested mix of German and English lyrics, and even a dance track that is rather unusual in scene circles ("Waltz of life") will be featured. Furthermore, the tracklist includes a great collaboration with Patrick Knoch a.k.a. Elektrostaub: "The journey“.

"Angel Maschine" can certainly be described as a classic Synth-Pop album, whose sound, however, more than lives up to current standards.

In early 2026, Alex Braun (supported by Jan Bertram) will go on tour with Alienare.
