In 2006, synthpop institution And One, fronted by Steve Naghavi, released "Bodypop", a record named after the band's own signature sound: the physical punch of body music fused with irresistible pop hooks.
"Bodypop" is twelve tracks that switch effortlessly between English and German, framed by the opener "Mein Anfang" and the closer "Dein Ende". Stomping beats and crisp synth sequences meet Naghavi's voice, which moves between cool irony and heartfelt melody. "Military Fashion Show" became a club anthem and topped the German Alternative Charts. "So Klingt Liebe" and "Traumfrau" showed the band's romantic side.
