And One - Tanzomat - MC
The dance machine is switched back on!
In 2011, synthpop institution And One, fronted by Steve Naghavi, released their legendary studio album "Tanzomat", a conscious return to the cheeky, satire-tinged spirit of the band's early years.
"Tanzomat" is twelve tracks of pure bodypop built for the dancefloor. Driving sequencer lines, massive synth hooks and Naghavi's unmistakable voice, running from the opener "Save The Hate" and the club-ready "Dancing In The Factory" to the sprawling six-and-a-half-minute "Playing Dead". The album also includes "Sex Drive" and "No Song For You", both originally B-sides of the "Zerstörer" single. The result sits somewhere between electro grit and irresistible pop.
Fifteen years later, "Tanzomat" arrives on MC cassette for the first time ever, strictly limited and housed in a transparent pink shell. It is a tape made for fans who like their synthpop analogue and collectible.
Fast-forward, rewind, dance...Strictly limited!
