CALLEJON - Das Herz ist schwer (Red Vinyl) - 2LP
CALLEJON - Das Herz ist schwer (Red Vinyl) - 2LP
Vinyl edition as a 2LP in a gatefold sleeve with red vinyl and LP insert.
For a quarter of a century, Callejon have stood for German-language metalcore. As pioneers, they broke down genre boundaries, reinvented themselves several times and yet remained true to themselves and their unmistakable style. That may sound paradoxical, but it is precisely this constant evolution that fuels their longevity – resulting in more than 1,000 concerts, seven consecutive Top 10 chart positions and nothing less than a defining influence on German-language metal.
Callejon have always been more than just metal, more than just sound. Callejon is almost an attitude. A longing that never ends, a source of inspiration, a journey, a story.
On their eleventh studio album, “Das Herz ist schwer”, Callejon return to the roots of Beerdigungscafe, absorb the spirit of their early influences and pour it all into a perfected form. Bursting with emotion, bizarrely tragic yet beautiful lyrics, black humour and a signature style that makes Callejon truly unique.
