Apart from the 11 tracks from the original vinyl (No Emb Blanc, 2010), this edition includes the exclusive bonus track "We are all the same".
“Everytime” is a minimalist darkwave album that focuses heavily on atmosphere rather than catchy song structures. The combination of analogue synths, simple drum machines and detached vocals creates a cool, almost hypnotic mood. Stylistically, the duo draws inspiration from 80s wave, yet creates their own pared-back sonic language.
Tracks such as “Everytime” and “The Night is coming” thrive on repetition and subtle build-up. The production is deliberately raw, leaving plenty of room for reverb and emptiness. Thematically, the songs revolve around isolation, emotional distance and fragile relationships. As a result, the album feels more like a cohesive state of mind than a traditional collection of songs.
The 2026 reissue via Young and Cold Records features a subtle remaster with clearer details. The bonus track complements the album perfectly and reveals a slightly evolved sonic direction. Overall, “Everytime” remains a timeless, albeit deliberately monotonous, seminal work in modern darkwave!
