On Conspiracy, Child of Night chronicles a world filled with longing and danger, surveillance and the search for connection. Working with producer Matia Simovich (INHALT) at Infinite Power Studios in Los Angeles, C.O.N. built a rapport that “felt pretty organic/genuine,” Niabi says. “Matia is an incredible musician and producer, working with him was sincerely cool.”

“After working with Matia on the record, it was sort of a given that we'd have him do a remix, and his remix of ‘Controlled Burn’ was fantastic,” John says. “It was cool to hear him use the Synclavier to sort of transform it into something else, a wild process and a result to match.” (Fans agree: INHALT’s remix of “Controlled Burn” has been doing numbers on YouTube!)

“For the Quiet remix, having Profit Prison was a treat,” John adds. “Parker has been a friend for a long time, we've toured together a few times (and hopefully more in the future). We really loved his remix of ‘Dirtworld’ back in 2021 and it was a no brainer to have him do a track off of the new record as well. And it rips, it's the king of dungeon synth-pop at his absolute finest.”

Despite the serious nature of its themes – “CCTV, the spanning of time, corrupt government” also served as inspiration, Niabi tells us – Conspiracy finds the light cutting through the shadows. Downbeat, pummeling synth tracks segue into bright melodies that tentatively balance absence and resilience. Catchy and captivating, these songs will stay with you.
