CONTRE SOIRÉE - We die alone - CD

The Paris -based project enters year 2026 with its first full-length album. Behind the name ‘Contre Soirée’ stands Olivier Decodts, who took care of all compositions, lyrics, production, instruments and vocals on this debut album!

Following the split EP ‘Nuit’ with Blind Delon on Veyl in 2021, Contre Soirée did many appearances on stage during the past years where his concept of energic dark wave and post-punk guitars have been improved.

The eleven-track collection includes all the music range he’s exploring. Titles like ‘Welcome to You’, ‘We die Alone’ or ‘Waste of Time’ are representing the more electro/darkwave dominated side of the project, meanwhile ‘Lights Off (feat. Blind Delon)’, ‘I never wanted to let you burn’ or ‘I love You’ are more post-punk oriented.

The result is a complete debut album that should fit for listeners of the current darkwave / post-punk scene.
