Originally released in 1988, *CUT UP* is the landmark debut album by Belgian duo Parade Ground, whose visionary approach helped define the sound of the European Cold Wave and early Electronic Body Music (EBM) movement. Formed by brothers Jean-Marc and Pierre Pauly, the band created a singular musical identity by fusing stark electronic textures, post-punk sensibilities, and experimental production into a sound that remains as compelling today as it was upon its original release.
