“The Chopping Block” presents itself as a raw, dark post-punk statement brimming with intensity! The powerful, emotive vocals carry the album and lend each track a particular weight.
The sound remains deliberately raw and authentic, which underlines its DIY charm. High-energy tracks alternate with melancholic moments.

“Blitzkrieg in Holland” and “Seeing You here and now” stand out in particular. The atmosphere is dense and haunting, without any artificial overproduction. Some songs seem a little simply arranged, but this suits the style.
