The Exploding Boy are a Swedish Postpunk band, founded in 2006 and named after a song by The Cure. After 3 albums on the Swedish 'Ad Inexplorata' label (Twice a Man, Karin My, Fake Moss...), in 2013 the band signed to Drakkar/SONY, who later also re-released 2 of their previous albums, and toured Europe extensively, including celebrated appearences at many important festivals. Next big festival : Amphi in July 2026.

The Exploding Boy member Johan Sjöblom also released highly regarded and successful solo-albums on Manic Depression and COP International…
