THE SMITHS – BBC Radio One 1986 - LP

British music journalists No.1 darlings in the early 80s. They had a string of incredibly successful singles on the small Rough Trade label, starting with ‘Charming Man’ in 1983 that catapulted them on the absolute top the British Indie scene in the mid 80s.

These BBC recordings were done at the peak of the success in 1986 (after the release of their last studio album ‘The Queen is dead’) and just one year before the band fell apart.
