CALLEJON's self-created niche of screamo metal with lyrics in German instead of English, an ironic, tongue-in-cheek demeanour instead of an uptight attitude pose and brightly coloured comic-style artwork by BastiBasti actually caused a stir almost everywhere - which is why the band attracted a lot of attention early on.Because on their debut album "Willkommen im Beerdigungscafé" and the subsequent EP "Fauler Zauber Dunkelherz", you can hear all the impetuous presence, the storming and pushing, the anger, the pain, the love, the hope and despair, the explosive energy and the deep dark lifeblood, in other words everything that characterises CALLEJON and has never let go. These two releases have been out of print for several years, have often been offered as illegal bootlegs or used first pressings for sometimes insane sums, and have never appeared in digital form until now.
